SPRINT RACES at Silverstone

                             SPRINT RACES         This is a new race format that the FIA are experimenting with, at the much awaited Silverstone GP. But why do we need a new format? Well to mix up the grid a little and maybe heat the championship fight between (super) Max and Sir Lewis Hamilton (no adjectives needed, 7 time world champ😛)! According to Ross Brawn(F1 Managing Director), sprint quali will keep all the teams on their toes and give us some underdog performances too. So how does it work?     Like usual we have free practice one(FP1) on Friday morning followed by the usual qualifying session(the classic Q1,Q2&Q3). Belgium GP preview and AH19

  Belgian GP The Belgian GP is the longest track on the calendar (Track length: 7.004km and 44 laps). Full circuit info Track guide *DRS stands for Drag Reduction System. The track is called as Spa Francorchamps and is liked by fans of all ages due to its elevation changes and long straights, thus, increasing the chances of overtaking. Some of the corners are quite famous and obviously have names. Eau Rouge and Raidillion is the most popular flat-out sequence of turns. AH19💔:  In 2019, there was a fatal accident during the F2 race that took away Anthoine Hubert and left Juan Manuel Correa with severe injuries. This weekend we race for Anthoine and we will observe a minute's silence ahead of Sunday's race, as well as before Saturday's F2 feature race.The number 19 will forever be Anthoine's in the F2 championship.  All cars will sport his logo for the weekend Alpha Tauri's Pierre Gasly was roommates with Anthoine while they were students. 2020 with Covid

 The 2020 season As per the schedule, the season was supposed to kick start in Melbourne, Australia on Friday,the 13 th of March. However, after two members of the McLaren team tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday the team withdrew causing the FIA(   Federation Internationale de I’Automobile , governing body of Formula1) to postpone the event indefinitely. This gave rise to a domino effect causing multiple race cancellations and postponements.   From the Scratch Formula1 is the pinnacle of motorsport with all the glitz and glamour. The career of any F1 driver starts with karting. Most are on karts by the time they are three or four years old and work their way up the ladder. Before you start, I would recommend downloading the official Formula1 app. The app gives first time viewers easy access to schedules, team names and driver names. This sea son we have 10 teams with 2 drivers each. 6 of the ten teams are based in Britain.
